The number of the characters will automatically be divided in more messages (with a maximum of 10) after 160 characters on. Such reckoning will also include the length of the possible default text. Look out! The messages generated by such operation will obviously be forwarded to all selected recipients. For instance, if a message is sent in 3 parts to 10 people, then 10x3=30 messages are sent (and 30 units are deducted from the credit).
The use of special characters such as the Euro symbol, backquotes, stressed letters, degrees symbols, section marks, etc. may not be correctly decoded by many telephones, and may be subsequently displayed as square brackets, empty spaces, hyphens or question marks. It is therefore recommended to use such characters with caution.
